## Summary
IBM UrbanCode Deploy is a tool for automating application deployments through your environments. It is designed to facilitate rapid feedback and continuous delivery in agile development while providing the audit trails, versioning and approvals needed in production.

Although IBM sells all the UrbanCode products under its brand, HCL also sells some of the same tools under its own brand. 

On January 30, 2018, [IBM Announced it's partnership with HCL](https://developer.ibm.com/urbancode/2018/01/30/partnering-hcl-growth-innovation/) for continued growth and innovation.
